wild duck holiday park pool leak swimmers kept in hospital

Seven people affected by chlorine smoke at the Norfolk waterfront park swimming pool were taken to hospital for the night on Sunday.
After a leak at Belton Wild Duck Holiday Park near Greater Yarmouth, 40 people were treated for breathing problems and the investigation is underway.
The complex has been evacuated and the pool is still closed to the public.
Haiwen, who owns the site, said new visitors on Monday will be directed to one of the other three nearby parks.
The head of hygiene and safety, the environmental services of the Greater Yarmouth autonomous city and the Norfolk fire-fighting chemical leak unit were involved in the investigation of the cause of the leak.
Hospitals in Gorleston, Norwich and Ipswich treated the effects of smoke breathing for 33 people, of whom 7 were kept in hospital for overnight observation.
A tourist said there might be a problem with the pool earlier this week.

They complained about the smell of the pool.
\"I didn\'t swim so it didn\'t affect me and we didn\'t think much at the time.
\"We thought it was just a normal pool smell, but we started to have a different idea after the event on Sunday.
Jill Patterson of Felix Stowe, who owns a RV at the scene, said she came to the park to rest for a few days.
When things began to get \"confused\", she realized a problem for the first time.
There are medical staff everywhere. Four ambulances have appeared.

The survey will investigate the amount of chlorine provided by pool equipment, or if it is for other reasons, Haven said.
