Frenschuk, South Africa (Reuters)-
Put Francis Bacon aside.
Pigcasso waved the brush in her nose, passionately threw her head aside, creating bright bold strokes on the canvas supported in her pigsty.
The sow was rescued as a piglet from the slaughterhouse and was taken to an animal sanctuary in the West Cape area of South Africa in 2016, and her new owner noticed her love for colors and brushes.
\"The pig is a very smart animal, so when I bring the pig to the barn, I think how can I make her happy?
Joanne Lefson, who runs the farm Shelter SA, said.
\"We threw some football, rugby, and of course some brushes because the barn was new. . .
Apart from these brushes, she basically ate everything and ruined everything. . .
\"She loves them very much,\" added laffson . \".
Soon the pig dipped the brush into several pots of paint, leaving her mark.
Her paintings can be sold for nearly $4,000, and the proceeds will be spent on animal welfare.
She even turned one of her artwork into the face of the Swiss watchmaker Swatch\'s watch.
Swatch announced cooperation with pigs last month.
Limited edition Ms Fliggy
The Pigcasso \"features green, blue and pink brushes for $120.
\"Pigcasso is definitely an Abstract Expressionist and you can\'t define exactly what she\'s drawing, but I can tell you that her style will be like any great artist,\" Lefson said.
