catherine porter: whitby artist portrays picasso, the great master’s ‘domestic period’

I went to see two Picasso works this week.
You may have heard of it.
You know, he is on display at the Ontario Art Gallery from his private collection in Paris.
I think it should be called \"Picasso and his penis \".
One portrait after another highlights his members, like a dead carp lying on his thigh.
The second show is a response to it.
It is known as \"domestic Picasso\", exhibiting a series of portraits of the master, faithfully completing the mundane chores one after another.
You will find a young barefoot Picasso trimming the lawn of Gertrude Stein, an old stone
In the face of Picasso, he was wearing a plaid apron, slippers and a spoon in his hand. cum-
Snider plopped in the middle of his Les Demoiselles d\'Avignon, holding one drill in one hand and one curtain rod in the other. (
The neighbor woman who Picasso helped was clearly dressed in this version of clothes, with teacup and biscuits piled up on the table. )
\"We went to southern France to stay with some friends, where we visited the Picasso Museum in Antibes,\" explains painter Eric Roser, who took me to the show at the Gladstone Hotel.
\"Our host said that all Picasso had to do was paint.
There is a woman waiting for every need of him.
It was so strong and heartfelt that I decided to let Picasso do the housework.
\"Roser, a painter from Whitby, Ontario.
I \'ve been working on Picasso\'s work for the next few years, reading biographies, and looking for myself.
Throughout Picasso\'s career, he can get huge torque by inserting an iron here or a vacuum there.
\"He should be the greatest modern artist.
I want him to be a real modern man . \"
\"Unless you change someone else\'s diapers, especially after they eat garlic chickpeas, you haven\'t survived yet. . .
I wonder if Picasso changed diapers in his life.
\"To understand what Picasso thinks about women, you don\'t need to read the biography of Ariana Huffington, Picasso: Creators and spoilers.
Just walk past the works of art he has now reserved for himself.
Most of his paintings depict one of his seductive mistresses, lying naked in bed at the beginning of their relationship, or one of his poor mistresses, with a green, twisted face, as far as she knows, she has been replaced by a newer model.
Huffington did a good job in theme development.
Picasso is a narcissistic, manipulative sex addict who walks through women like a brush and shows off each other for sports.
For him, they inspired the sex slaves, but they were never equal to him.
But what is really irritating is that he is such a successful painter and there is always a younger woman waiting for her chance to be mastered without waiting.
They will buy his painting supplies, wake up early in the morning to turn on the heating, make dinner, and clean the house while he sleeps until noon.
Seeing a picture of him tidying up his clothes, like watching Mike Tyson get hit on the ring, satisfies this malevolent itch.
Of course, if Picasso was stuck on the floor mopping up to cook, he wouldn\'t have had time --or spirit —
Finish two paintings every day
Housework is the enemy of passion.
His career may affect Roser, who, as soon as his two sons arrive, has no time to draw between day work, shuttle to and from school, menu planning and a bedtime shower.
I like to think that Picasso will be a happier person and understand what a real partnership looks like.
He will understand the dark side of compromise.
What does Roser think Picasso\'s painting will be?
\"When I snuggled up with my baby, the women looked at me as if \'What the hell!
That\'s after 80.
\"I think my advice is incredible from where Picasso came from,\" he said . \".
\"If he had a stomach, he would sue me.
The exhibition of \"domestic Picasso\" lasted until June 18 at the Gladstone Hotel.
Catherine Potter\'s columns are usually held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
