Lucknow: On Friday, children of different age groups gathered on a common platform to share their imagination of color.
The event is Times NiE colony Splash, an annual painting competition co-organized by Times NiE and Excellia School, Dreamworld Amusement Park, Kanpur Road.
Painting is divided into three categories;
Painting, Portrait

In a special category, teachers also have the opportunity to show their creative talents with board drawings.
About 1,200 students from 25 city schools attended the event.
This year\'s competition is not limited to the display of art talents;
It\'s more about learning through the interesting topic of The Times, which can be seen from the themes of various categories.
The theme of Sheet painting is \"Lucknow, my smart city\", as well as facial paintings and portraits --
This is my dream India.
These themes encourage children to come up with innovative ideas and write them on paper.
The judges, Harshit Singh, Varsha Srivastava, Shalini Lall, Nitin Kannojiya, Pradipt Singh and eMite Saxena, all praised the trainees and said: \"It is not easy to decide your own winning work.
Judging social activists, painters and craft artists in the face painting category, Hastha Singh said the idea of the depiction was very precise and he was surprised to see the children have such a talent.
Later, when the judges carefully considered the entries, the participants danced with their favorite figures.
In the paintings, Nikita Moraya, from the public school in Lucknow, South City, won the first prize, followed by Seth m r from the public school of the Nehru Road Army at 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Anil Singh\'s army public schools, public schools on Nehru Road, Sorang Agarwal Lucknow, Southcity and Anushka Upadhyay from Delhi public schools, Eldeco, bags 1st, 2nd and 3rd bonuses are in the portrait, respectively-making.
Anupama and Akansha from South City Lucknow public schools won the first prize in facial painting, followed by Priyanka and Soni from Army Public Schools, Nehru Road,
Joseph International College of Thakurganj.
The sponsor of the event is Mr. Excellia school.
