The transmission structure of the high-speed toothbrush tufting machine consists of a main drive shaft and four servo drive shaft systems. The four servo axes are horizontal X axis, vertical Y axis, moulting Z axis and rotating A axis. The XY two-axis coordinates determine the position of the toothbrush hole, the A-axis plays the role of changing to the next toothbrush, and the Z-axis plays the role of changing the toothbrush bristles. When the spindle motor (controlled by the frequency converter) is running, the four electronically controlled servo axes will run along with it, and when the spindle stops, the remaining four axes will follow-up and stop. The rotation speed of the main shaft determines the speed of planting hair, and the four servo axes respond to the coordinated drive, otherwise there will be hair loss or uneven hair. In order to avoid the above problems, the editor believes that when operating a high-speed tufting machine, you should pay attention to the following problems: 1. When the machine is started, do not open the door on the right side of the fuselage to prevent clothing and other objects from being caught in the belt. 2. Do not reach into the started machine. 3. Do not drop tools or brush handles and other items into the running machine to avoid damage to the parts caused by the impact of the tufting head or the hair hooking knife. 4. If the parts are worn out, please replace them as soon as possible to avoid the joint damage of other parts or the production of poor-quality finished products. 5. Pay attention to the cleaning, maintenance and lubrication of the machine. 6. Add clean 46-48# hydraulic oil to the fuel tank. 7. The oil cup of the intake filter and pressure regulator should be filled with vapor oil. In addition, the working process of the high-speed tufting machine is as follows: Action process: the clamp clamps the toothbrush handle from the Y axis → the clamp is positioned at 90 degrees to the Z axis direction → the platform drives the clamp to do X, Y axis movement so that the bristles can be hit In the pores of the toothbrush head→hair transplantation is completed, the clip is rotated 90 degrees down→the clip is loosened, and the processing of a toothbrush is completed. The application of XDM series plc and DS5 servo system of our company (Xinjie) can achieve 900 times/min tufting speed. Moreover, while starting and stopping at high speed, the smoothness and softness of the overall action is more prominent. Through the application of the self-made pulse S-curve in the PLC, it is possible to skip holes and plant hair, and when skipping holes, while ensuring the accuracy of skipping holes, the machine is basically as stable as usual without obvious jitter. Only by knowing the working principle of the tufting machine can we better grasp the speed and quality of tufting.
